Anyone need some 1.25 id flex exhaust hose? It is difficult to find this size in flex hose, so I had to special order 25 feet of it....I only needed about 3 feet.

It was a perfect fit for my Kohler Command 20hp on the Judson TNT and also fit my onan generator exhaust. I'm sure I could find more uses for it, but if you are shopping for that size and can't find it...I can help.

I would hang onto it Robert. Sooner or later that piece installed may break or start leaking. Then you will be again ordering a 25 foot section.  Embarassed

Yes it is....at least I think it is stainless, but might just be galvanized.  You think I would remember, I just ordered it 2 weeks ago.  I will check the invoice and post the answer.

See if a magnet sticks to it!  wink

I bought some crap stuff awhile back from Auto Zone, that rusted almost instantly, and had very little flexibility due to being made cheaply.

Your stuff in the pic looks like the good quality SS stuff to me. Smile

Galvanized steel.

It was a special order through Walker Exhaust...they didn't offer anything else in 1.25 inch. I plan to cover it with header wrap anyway, so it should last for my needs.

Rob I see your blower is belt driven, so could you please shoot a pic of it, that shows the pulley's and belt clearly, and post it here..........whenever you have time.

Thanks!  wink

I covered some galvanize flex two weeks ago and it just broked last thursday when back to the muffler shop the flex was rusted and over cooked from the heat may be just my luck , the muffler person told me to use this replacement galvanize without the wrap untill he gets some SS flex

The only other option I could find for 1.25 id was going with ss hose from the aircraft industry. It isn't exactly an exhaust tube, but it is rated up to 650 degrees which should work....it was a little expensive.

If this doesn't hold up, I guess I will look to the aircraft world.

It should hold if you don't wrap it at all

What kind of wrap did u use ? Fiberglass.. If so I might suggest getting the new titanium header wrap. The stuff is crazy and might work a bit better for longevity of the applied metal it's being wrapped to. Got mine on amazon !

That was the plan, but I think I will go without the wrap and see how it goes....after-all, I still have 22 feet of the stuff. Very Happy
