grout question Empty grout question

how do you guys that use a grout wand deal with really skinny grout lines? I know most tile is layed out with a good standard spacing but I come across it sometimes with really tight skinny grout lines.

would you just do it by hand and charge a lot more? or use the grout wand still?

thanks in advance

Grout wand should have come with a smaller wheel for them smaller grout lines... you could do it by hand with a hand held one from HD .. thats what ive used in showers and around toilets etc. u can charge more for smaller tile because there's more grout and grout is the hard part to clean.
Or just spray it down with a pump up with a long wand I've done that too. Just keep it to 1 or two pump and it will drizzle out.
Are u wand wiping up excess or wanding after or wire fiber moping after?

If just sealing the grout on 12" or larger tiles, I normally use the smaller/slim wheel that comes with the grout wand, But...........

Normally you'll see 1/16" (Skinny), non-sanded grout lines on stone floors, and in that case most of the time I'm sealing the tile and grout so it's not an issue.  The exception to that is smaller 1-4" man made tiles usually also have 1/16" grout joints. Either way my application process is basically the same, spray it on very lightly, and use the foam Squeegee to spread it around/work it in.

So what type of tile is it, Stone or man made?  And what size are the tiles?
