Cleaners HQ is gone.

Just got an email that Bob is shutting down the HQ. Maybe we can get our old archives back? And maybe we should welcome some new members or some old faces? Thoughts?

You beat me to it...just saw the business closed sign myself.

That board never had a chance as it lost his roots and its identity early on, but just like the cleaning industry, companies fold on a daily basis if they can't stand apart from the crowd and net a strong customer base....just had the wrong identity in my opinion.

Still, there were some good members on there and many will be looking for a new place to hang their hat, maybe we will see them move in soon.

That board wasn't much older than this one, but I think we have a better formula....and a lot more dancing bananas.

  

Ha! Ha! Ha! Just got the email. I'd actually forgot that it existed. Redirecting to a Facebook page is insulting. Give me a break!

Now Johnny, we gonna have to start a poll on that buddy.

That Facebook page is closed too... maybe Bob would be willing to send out a link to us for old times sake or maybe an email list.

I just checked it out. Said group closed. Maybe it's by invite only? I'm not too Facebook savvy.

I hope Jonathan gets snatched up and paid well for his considerable graphics talents.

The biggest tragedy with that forum closing is that the content will now be lost forever.

That's all our fault.
Any of us could've gone back in there and copy & pasted.
I did it a little just didn't have enuf time to finish.

There was some good stuff on there, it would be nice to have some way to access it like an archive. Maybe call it the "stacks" like the University libraries do?

Apparently Jonathan is already here, and has been for quite some time.

Maybe he will make that public.

Ryan just received an email from Bob. Bob said the he is the sole owner of the old café content and it is not for sale.

Bob I know you've been lurking here since the inception of this board. Let me explain something to you.

The reason I said it was a tragedy to lose the café content was because cleaners would no longer have access to that information not because I wanted full control over it.

While I understand why Joe gave up full control of the forum, because  It's no picnic. I will never understand why the members were not privy to that change until after the fact and an even bigger mistake was giving the content away to you.

By trashing that content, It only proves that you really don't give a shoot abut the industry and it was all about Bob trying to be a big shot. Ironically by making that content disappear your just helping your arch enemy Mike. I suspect that was the other reason you wanted the forum .To prove to ex buddy Mike that you could have a forum too.

Now if you're planning on making that content available to cleaners down the road that would be awesome and I apologize to you. If your looking to profit from that content you can just take it and shove it up your ass.

Just received an email from Bob.  He has invested thousands of dollars and countless hours on the HQ and has no intention of giving it away. But the good news is that the content will not disappear permanently. He has plans  "that will soon become evident"
