Ever have back surgery? Empty Ever have back surgery?

Post by Devon07 Wed Apr 08, 2015 10:18 pm

I had a two level 360 fusion on lower back and have hardware...I also have two 10 inch rods and 18 screws in my dominant arm..".my body has over 4.5 feet of scars from various surgeries.."I had my right knee scoped three times and it's just healing from the last. I think it's fair to say I do my own stunts! I don't take pain meds at all....on occasion I take ibuprofen. Chicks really do dig scars! SUP

How are the old bones holding up to the cleaning since you got back in the biz?

I knew we were related!

I just returned from a full physical with a new doctor...I think she felt I was a Zombie.

Pulse of 49
BP of 114 / 67
Took 6 attempts to find a vein that would provide a blood sample
Stab wounds
Gun shot wounds
My neck has 4" of metal plate and 24 screws
Knees scoped more than I can count
6" rod in my right forearm and a 3" one in my right hand

Despite the mess that is me....she determined that I was "Awesome".....direct quote by the way.Cool

Just proves that the Medical profession is populated by idiots these days. Still feels good to hear a 30-something female doctor call you awesome...makes living on oatmeal and groaning on stairs almost tolerable. Very Happy

Unlike you Devon, I go through a bottle of Tylenol every month...I'm impressed by your tolerance.

Take it slow getting that knee back up to speed...never want to rush them and look forward to the next one in 5-10 years.

Wow!...we must be. My wife is my issue when it comes to my health...she only knows half of what I do....and that half is made to look trivial.

Doing dishes, got mad, through a coffee cup at me.....with a steak knife inside it.

Cup missed, knife didn't....left a 3 inch puncture wound. Started eating out a lot after that.

Mine was pure Italian. Her parents called her shy and could never compare to fight night at her parents. Going there for the holidays was like watching a Royal Rumble.
