All the work and experience just to market to existing clients wasnt worth it for me. Their are far less expensive ways to stay in touch with them that dont add to the landfills as much.

When it comes to newsletters, get with the Real Estate folks. I offer this advice all the time, but I have a little section in a newsletter sent to all the agents in the region.

I'm sure your local national agents do the same thing. It provides great exposure to a customer base sure to need your services.

Wow, I got a bargain then....free.

They got tired of me giving them tips that they asked me to add a section each month with some seasonal cleaning tips. It got me the reputation as the "Carpet Genius" as they call me. I'm about as much of a genius as Wild E. Coyote was and often fail just as badly, but they don't realize that.

Maybe I should stop buying from the ACME cleaning company. Razz

Your free ad would be over $1000 a month here.

I really don't see why anyone couldn't do the same thing. Surely, you all have done some work with an agent in your area so why not inquire about it? I do provide all of the agents a discount, but it has been well worth it.

Here you would have to go through the realtors association newsletter. Very pricy plus you have to join the association.

"Join the Association"? I would pass as well.

Why does everything have to be so dang difficult these days? Why can't a person do business with another person without all the unions, associations, etc. reaching into our pockets?
