ICE in Vegas
For those attending, what are you hoping to see? Which booths (they are listed on the website) are you most interested in visiting? Any desire to attend any of the lectures?
I looked it over and found about 4 booths that I want to visit, no lectures, and a lot of free time on my hands. Hopefully, the people will be interesting and I can finally put faces to names that I see across the various boards.
I expect it to be like the iicrc classes, I learn more from the attendees than the instructor or the topic material which I am okay with. To bad Mo, Davey, and Devon will not be part of that this time around.
For those guys missing out, is there anything you want me to check out and get you more information on......strippers don't count.

It depends...will you be wearing a GoPro? #401 when DP gets there...lol #800 and ask about shipping turn around time lol....#812 and Im interested.....#502 and tell them they are idiots!
Honestly though...the excitement really happens only when you go...I wish I was going...I know it would be a candy store.

Lol Scott, I'm surprised Wanders product is going to be there among Mytee and Tom Conway, it should be interesting !
I haven't register yet, but I booked accommodation already, I'm going to register tomorrow.
Rob, what day and time are you arriving ? And how long are you staying ?

Re: ICE in Vegas
You had worried, it wouldn't be the first time that I screwed up and ended up booking for the wrong dates.
The classes were interesting, but not enough for me to waste another vacation day and hotel night to attend.

Re: ICE in Vegas
So, we can hide out at the condo if the cops come looking for us at the hotel?
Good to know.

Re: ICE in Vegas
Alright, what are your drink of choice guys ? Mo, I have enough evidence that you are just bluffing and will be there, so cut the crap and let me know what drinks you want and I'll try to get it.
The condo has a huge hot tub with waterfall ( 100 degrees ) so we can definitely hang out there if you guys want.

Re: ICE in Vegas
Well, I tried to post yesterday, typed a long post and due to bad connection the post is gone
Here is a little bit of info :
House call pro is free for owner operator, I didn't know that !
I'm going to download it and set it up sometimes soon to try it out for a week and then decide.
For those of you that bought schieffer skinny hose from JB in the past and like the hose but now they're not available anymore, I asked Schieffer and they said that all you have to do is contact dultmeier with the model # ( should be on the hose ) and they will special order them to schieffer.
Rotovac 360xl is for sale for $ 2200 ( they only have 2 at that price, the floor stocks only ). No tax and yes you have to pay shipping.
Procyon shipping turn around time to mid west states is 5 business days and costs around $ 35 to ship 50 lbs of procyon powder.
Other than that, I haven't won any shit from the raffles yet
Wish me luck on 2 more raffles sessions and the Judson truckmount.

Re: ICE in Vegas
Just got home today after spending the night in Omaha for that VIP concert.
The Expo, for my part, was pretty much a bust. You can't get oatmeal in Vegas and I was sick most nights after trying to find something that my body could handle. They even bath the plain bagels in butter, so that wasn't even safe.
I spent the 2 days working the vendor's booth for Wanders....yes, that Wanders as Joe decided not to attend and asked if I would help Jonathan so that he could get breaks as needed.
Working the booth was the better part of the trip as I was able to meet a lot of cleaners that I only knew by forum handles and postings. It was a lot of fun meeting the people and helping out the new guys in the industry.
I must have met 8 cleaners who didn't know anything about the stuff in the market. They were all using those 2-jet wands that came with the machine , stiff crappy hose with vinyl cuffs, no shut off valves, etc. It was really scary how little some of these guys knew!!
House Call Pro and some of the website developers were the main people that I spoke to on the floor. All-in-all, it was a good experience and there should be some gains as a result.
Dp was exactly who I expected him to be. Gracious, understanding, and very helpful. He tolerated my long winded conversations and accepted my preference to suffer in my room instead of going out to party without complaint.
So, I guess you guys didn't miss all that much. Neither Dp nor myself won squat in the auctions, so even that sucked.
I can tell you that you should see the Amflex hose become cheaper for you guys on the West Coast as I found a company that keeps it in stock in the Las Vegas area instead of needing it shipped from Indiana. There were also some new things going on with Westpak, Rotovac, and Brush Pro that I might have some influence with in the near future....stay tuned for that.
Just good to be home.....had a nice bowl of oatmeal and enjoying the recliner.

Glad you made it home safely ! I watched that blizzard in east coast in the news and thought of you stuck at the airport in Minneapolis or O'Hara without phone
Home sweet home huh
I hope your trucks and equipments survive the blizzard ?
