Track Stars
I was watching some youtube clips of track events to psych up for a little run tonight and I realized something. Sprinters all wear skin tight speed suits to shave off a 100th of a second which is a margin that can make or break a race finish. They also wear the lightest shoes possible to shave some time and weight there as well....again, half an ounce can make all the difference at the finish.
These sprinters do all that (and more) yet they all wear gold chains around their neck. Some are so large that they could easily weigh an ounce or two themselves.
It makes me wonder if these great runners are paying too much attention to appearance rather than the task at hand?
I wonder the same thing about cleaners some times as well.

Re: Track Stars
The chains become airborne so it only weighs them down part of the time.
I now what you mean though. I should be dumping my waste daily even though I still have capacity for more. I wonder how much fuel and brakes I can save if I just emptied daily

Re: Track Stars
That was my point Mo, I worry about having a titanium wand to save weight yet I roll with 100 gallons of water on-board.
Doesn't make any sense does it?

Re: Track Stars
Lol, I always empty my waste tank almost at every job to avoid odor from waste water settling in the bottom of the waste tank.
Part of it because all of these idiot LA drivers that absolutely hate cargo vans and have made it their missions to cut cargo vans out and brake right in front of it
