I cleaned this afternoon for a afluent young couple that was expecting a child any day now and wanted to clean all the carpet for health reasons. It turned out to be 4 bedrooms, living room, full basement, and a laundry room....a decent job and the carpet was only 3 years old without any stains nor traffic patterns. Peace

Anyway, I broke out all the little things as it was close to 5 pm and the neighbors would all be coming home about this time. I had the safety cones out, the lawn picks, the booties, wall protectors, the door seal....everything. Nobody said a word about any of it the whole time I was there until I was loading up.

The guy thanked me for all the attention and gave me a $50 tip. Then the wife came out and thanked me for wearing the booties and especially for using the door seal as she had been worried about the Zika virus ever since getting pregnant.

I had not even thought about the Zika threat when I set up that door seal. I really did it to keep the A/C in and to keep their little puppy from getting out. Now that she said that, we are missing out on a good thing here by not including the door seal in your company profile. Even worse, if you don't have a door seal to begin with.

Get one of those Seal-A-Door things and boost your image with the Zika angle....you will see happy customers.

I also believe they do too.

I get quite a few thank you's for using corner guards......a lot of people really appreciate you caring for their property and then there's those that don't even notice or mention it.
Hoses can really eat up the corners of MDF base, and I just hate messing it up, so I don't even take the chance.

Another thing I've gotten a lot of thank you's for is the use Lawn Sticks in flower bed edges to keep hoses from dragging threw dirt and making a mess or damaging plants & flowers.
Using moving blanket and Wall Huggers aka mini moving blankets Very Happy is another good one, especially to protect stair banisters and railings from hose damage.

+1 on the Wall Huggers. I finally had a chance to use one. I needed to drop the hoses over the banister to reach the basement. Slapped the hugger on there with a velcro hose wrap to keep the hoses in position and lowered away.

I do need more moving blankets for running hoses over wood floors. I have been using foam pipe insulation, but the blankets would be easier.
