One day off or two days off ? Empty One day off or two days off ?

Post by dp1 Tue Jun 21, 2016 3:31 pm

When you're busy, do you do 5 days a week or 6 days a week ? I recently have been trying 5 days a week, the 2 days off would be Sundays and Tuesdays, it's been working great actually, no more 2 - 3 jobs day between Mondays through Wednesdays ( our slowest days ). Every day would be 4 - 6 jobs kind of day with a certain goal of $$ daily.

6 days a week and only because I don't like cleaning more than two a day unless they're small jobs.

I don't intend on taking any off, but I don't have them stacked up like Dp does either. I never know when the work will dry up, so I work them 24/7 7 days per week when they are there.

Ask me that question again in Sept. and it might change greatly. Very Happy

I like sat-sun off but dont mind if other van is out, I still do a lot of saturdays but our mon-fri is pretty strong this year so 2 days off sometimes is needed.

Doing 2 big ones /day right now some days 3

5 days/week. Will try to load one of those days and take one of the 5 off. Saturdays are only if a long timer needs me. These old bones need weekends off.

Well, the reason why I space them out is sometimes people have accidents over the weekend and they need them done asap which is Monday, competition is tough in LA, those new customers are going to call the next cleaner in Google or Yelp once I tell them no.
So for those of you in rural areas, you guys are lucky Very Happy
However I will take 2 - 3 days off for Vegas mini vacation, lol.

Monday thru Friday. As needed basis for commercial only on Saturday.

Mo, only two jobs a day? What is the Job average $400? I would love two a day.
