TM put a baby to sleep
I was cleaning a house this afternoon that had an infant child (3 months old). I always hate when that happens as I don't want to be the cause of waking or scaring the child with the loud equipment. Well, Mom put her in the bedroom (not more than 8 feet from the job) and told me not to worry about it.
As soon as I started to set up, the child started to cry. Then when I turned on the CRB, she started to scream. I didn't like it at all, I just don't like being the bad guy. Once again, Mom tells me don't worry about it, the child was ill and has been crying all morning.
Then I fired up the Butler Van which was parked outside next to the baby's room. I was expecting trouble and thought about parking in the street, but once again, Mom said don't worry about it.
Three minutes after I started cleaning, baby went to sleep....and stayed asleep the whole time that I was cleaning. As soon as I shut down the TM, the child woke up and started crying again. I could actually hear her outside the window, so I started the machine back up and the child went back to sleep.
I guess the rythumic droning of the Butler TM was enough to put her to sleep. So, I cleaned a couple of accent rugs to test my theory. Sure enough, as soon as I turned off the machine, I could hear crying.
Maybe that should be the new selling point? Not only do you get clean carpets, but your child will sleep right through it.

Ha..ha.... I remember my first kid always cry when the car stopped at red lights, so I used to slow down a lot before I stop if the light turned red so that the car don't make a complete stop.
Time to record that butler sound in your phone and just replay that sound if that situation arise again, lol.

The recording is actually a pretty good idea.

Actually, I was thinking about it for getting me to sleep.

In my area the sound of the TM makes the senior citizens want to put you to sleep... Permanently
Re: TM put a baby to sleep
Ha...next to the baby's window. Are you sure baby fell asleep or was it the carbon monoxide that passed Sweet Pea out. LOL.
