I cleaned a home today owned by 2 very nice ladies in their mid-20's. They ran a dog daycare center out of their house, so they told me that there were many "accidents" throughout the home. Oh, they cleaned them promptly with a bissel machine, but there were still obvious stains in several rooms. The good news was that there was no odor issues and really, I've dealt with far worse in a standard home with a single dog.

So, I went to work while they took the dogs to the backyard. It was supposed to just be the living room, office, hallway, and two bedrooms, which they had already prepped for me with the furniture moved out of the way. I called out to them that I could clean another room if they wanted for $20 since I already there and had some pre-spray left. They agreed to have the "other bedroom" cleaned.....and that was when things went downhill fast.

It was a very charming bedroom with a canopy bed and lots of wicker furniture. I raised the bed skirting and tucked it out of the way so that my pre-spray or wand didn't get it wet. When I did that, it exposed a huge library of Playboy magazines and car magazines beneath the bed. Not the first time that has happened, but the first time for me when there was no "man of the house" though. scratch

Oh well, I pushed the magazine stacks in a little bit so as not to get them and returned to cleaning. Every time my wand got near the bed, it pulled out undergarments....which I quickly tossed back underneath hoping this all wasn't some youtube prank. affraid

Once all was complete, I started to load back up when the ladies returned with the dogs. I told her that it all turned out well and that the far bedroom might still be a little damp yet. They looked at each other and said "We didn't mean that bedroom, we meant the one downstairs" followed by them looking at each other a little shocked.

I just sort of stood there waiting for the "got ya" phrase and camera crew to jump out of the bushes, but neither one happened. I just took that room off the bill and loaded up quickly.

For the record, they had a really nice 65 Mustang in the garage. cheers

One of my cleans (for a real estate sale) was for a couple of ladies in their 40's/50's. I'm sure they lived together because their enjoyed each other's "company".

I was just glad there was not a plastic phallic toy left out. I've heard of cleaners seeing that stuff, because the home owner forgot to put the toys away, or in some kind of weird "look at me" moment.

I don't care what kind of lifestyle people want to live. But I don't really want to see it either. I'd probably get really embarrassed.

I am the same way, I am just a cleaner, not a morality judge. I was uncomfortable the entire time thinking that it was a practical joke and I didn't want to make it worse if it was.

The good part is that they told me that they would probably clean them again in 3 months.....pretty happy with the results, as was I. They had some 15 year old nylon that cleaned up really well.

Ha..ha.... my Iicrc teacher ( a lady ) shared her story when she used to clean, once she found a thong under the sofa cushions she was cleaning and gave it to the home owner and the lady quickly said "that's not mine", the husband was looking very uncomfortable, lol.
She ( my teacher ) said after that, she never gave them back right away if they found any "private" stuffs, she usually put them in a plastic bag and put it somewhere in the house.

Could have been worse. I was cleaning out my rental property one time and found her little friend between the mattress and box spring. Single woman in her 50s. Awkward for sure. Lol

I have been bluntly propositioned a few times. I cleaned a home where the husband and wife both were completely nude (your area DP) I have ran into many toys I would only use the wand to move around.....I was offered a "trade" for payment once. I once worked with a guy who was robbing homes and used the company we worked for as the entry tool....when I "cracked" the case I was offered a special pass to a Hollywood type party ....left quickly as I had no idea what the party was all about....I was over dressed! A lady who was missing her legs asked If I thought I was strong enough to carry her down the stairs (the lift was broke, I Think)....When I said sure! walked up to her and when she lifted the covers.....lets just say she was as light as possible....I carried her down and after getting paid and tipped well...I got regular phone calls from her.....more details later. One time my brother and I were laughing because we ran into a "toy" and he thought it would be funny to kick it into me....he did and I did it back...after this went on a few minutes and unreal laughing....we got caught! she picked it up, shook her head and we finished cleaning......nothing was ever said by her....but she was smart enough to take it away or we would have never finished that job....like two kids. so yeah!
