Impressive kid!

Post by Devon07 on Mon Oct 24, 2016 12:08 pm

As most of you know I worked my son all last summer and now that he's back in school I work him on a weekend if I can....I told him if he completes Boy Scouts and makes Eagle I will donate $500 to his car fund...he did and I did....then, I have also told him if he maintains his honor roll status and stays in AP classes I would match his savings to buy his car.....I should have known he would of done what he did knowing he has had $150 in his wallet for over a year without spending a dime.........He came up and said he found the truck he wants and showed me his account balance.....we just paid $20k cash for a nice 1972 Chevy SWB (I'll post pics soon) this thing is a beast! I had no idea this kid was paid so well! All around great kid....good grades....Eagle scout....cute little girlfriend who's family is adores and is soooo relieved my son is the boy who is involved with their daughter. This kid has manners outside the norm...he is very respectful and amazes me daily. Im bragging but only a small portion goes to my credit as he is just a natural. His resume would impress you at this point and he is only 15 and cant even get a driving permit yet. Wine

I was driving at 13....a 1949 Willys Jeep over the fields and into town.

I've had one of those trucks, they keep going up in value, very collectible truck. I am going to guess Blue and White?

Sounds like a great kid....are you sure he is yours? Laughing
