Unf@&$!?believable, I got 2 jobs today, 2 freaking jobs !! and this is the last week before Thanksgiving week ! Yes I checked the ads are popping up as they should, I know election year is usually slower but not this slow, this is like going back to 2008, when we first started. Very frustrating !
It must be hitting the blue states much harder than us over here in a Red state. Around here, the Trump bounce is being felt and money is flowing. We will see the end of this nice weather Thursday night and then it will probably die out rapidly.
It is strange that most people are booking cleanings after the holiday this time instead of before. I haven't seen that in past years. The only pre-holiday cleans are mostly just traffic areas to spruce up the place instead of a full cleaning.
Re: Has the election??
My daughter and grand kids are visiting and I can seem to a day off. They should have come after the 15th of December and I would have had plenty of time.
What really sucks is that I was planing on refinancing in April and the fricking rates are climbing big time.
Hows the schedule looking for you now DP

Mo, it's better for tomorrow and Saturday but comparing apples to apples between prior years at the same time, business is less than half of average. It's understandable people are holding on tight to their money because of uncertainty.
If I were you I would wait on refinancing, Trump is repealing dodd frank, if it's repealed, interest rates are going to plummet, there will be tons of bad debts again in the next 2 - 3 years and then dejavu all over again, the fdic insurance is going to bail out all these banks again and recession all over again.
I'm just going to laugh at that time trickle down economics works right ?? Of course it does, lol.

I call it icicle economics. The water starts freezing and the lower you go, the least you get, but up at top near the source....sitting pretty.

Exactly !! It's proven over the years through the policy AND THE RESULT ON THE ECONOMY !! but some people still don't accept it !
If you're a billionaire and you don't accept that fact is understandable, their billions of dollars are at stake, but closer to the middle or down and not accept that fact is hmmmm I better shut up now.
Nonetheless I'm pissed off about this election, I know that even if Clinton had won, it may not make much of a difference, both are crooked and liars and who's the victim ? We the people !

Re: Has the election??
I am still holding onto hope that it turns out to be a good 4 years. The President is like a football coach, his success or failure comes down to the quality and performance of the team far more than the coach.
We really will not know for certain until at least a year into it....if we make it that far. They were both badly flawed candidates, which is why I wrote in Mike Rowe. So far, he has not disappointed me and might actually have a greater impact on the service industry than Trump could ever accomplish.
