APO Mistake
I ran my TNT pretty hard today and when I fired up the pump out for the first time since installation....trouble. Turns out that the pump was reversed. I was hoping that it might have been reversible by wiring, but it wasn't, I had me a "pump in" instead of a "pump out".
This was a mess because I couldn't just flip the pump over as it mounts to the cover upside down to keep it from being exposed to water that might be on the floor. I had to flip the connections which made it necessary to relocate the whole thing closer to the dump valve.
This was the original set-up:
When I moved the whole pump over, there wasn't enough room to drill out the holes beneath the drain valve, so I had to skip the red poly spacers to allow the right angle drill to fit in there. Over-all, I think I like the hose routing even better as it gives me enough room to set a gallon jug or something on the floor. The pump is a beast and can throw a rooster tail of waste water. I think it is only 100 psi, but it sure seems like a lot more coming out of that garden hose.

Re: APO Mistake
That's a funny looking pump, what brand is that ? I'm sure it doesn't cost as much as Prochem pump out ?

Re: APO Mistake
The pump is just a Jabsco Water Puppy bilge pump and the case with switch and breaker is from my Butler TM parts bin in the garage.
All told, about $300. It isn't really high power with only a 8 gpm pump rate, but I only use it to facilitate a more controlled waste tank draining at the end of the day. Those "fancy" ones are 3x that rate....and about 4x the price.
