My biggest commercial account have been downsizing quite a bit ( still a good chunk of monthly income ), even when I told them that they will lose their 10 % discounts, they didn't seem to care, I think the higher management told the crew to minimize the cleaning bills, I normally charge $ 20 / linear foot for upholstery cleaning ( synthetic ), and they have these microfiber couches ( a bunch of them ) with fake leather base, so just the cushions that are microfiber, so I charge them $ 15 / foot and I measured from the end of bottom cushion to the other end of bottom cushion, comes out to $ 90 / couch, today they only had me do 10 cushions ( some of the cushions are polypropylene ), if you do the math, $ 90 is pretty much for 7 cushions ( 3 bottom and 4 back cushions ), so that comes out to about $ 13 / cushion, I'm thinking to charge them $ 20 / cushion, is it too much ?
I'm thinking the rate should go back to $ 20 / foot which makes it $ 120 and $ 120 รท 7 cushions is about $ 16 / cushion, so I would say anywhere from $ 16 - $ 20 is reasonable ?

If it sounds good to you, it sounds fine to me!

I agree with no discounts. No reason to give away your work.

Do you drag hjoses into the place, or do you take the cushions out to the van?
One is $20, the other is $15. In my book.

I always go with flat pricing for furniture. Sitting chair is $45, Love Seat is $90, Sofa is $135, Sectional is $180 with ottomans being another $30.

Basically, $45 per seated cushion in size....never got a complaint about that price and it makes things easy. If it is just sitting chairs, I do them outside or in the garage so I only have to pull about 10 feet of hose. Did 5 of them today like that.
