I have been getting the s&#"&% jobs recently. Pet urine, another pet, then an old mans poo. Then a pet, and to day; roach city.
I know a prop owner that's going to get a "fired" note in the mail. After the check clears.
They seemed totally oblivious to the pet odor and the roach problem.
"We should have evicted her 6 months ago".
Then,
"The new renter is her sister".
Duh,
Gotta get ahead of this before they call again. Every unit I've done for them is yuck.
Plus; while I'm cleaning I have to keep an eye on my van. Ol' 1 eye, and Mr. Bourbon out in the side yard always watching me. "He's inside, you go look to see if he has anything interesting in the van".
Like the grocery bag on the side door with something big and heavy in it. Used filter bags full of crud. That would be funny!!!

PM jobs always suck like that. If it makes you feel any better, I have been getting nothing but crap jobs as well. Mostly a couple pieces of furniture that were puked on or the pop-up campers with mildew stained awnings....even toss in a few pontoon boats for good measure.

At least I have a theater to clean on Friday. I hate that job, but it at least pays decent.

Around here, there are no winter jobs...period. Mad

I did two small homes today along with some furniture, but then ended my day cleaning that pop-up trailer.  I underestimated the pita factor by quite a bit.  I thought I would be able to apply the cleaner, scrub it up, and just pressure wash it off, but that was not the case (despite the claims on the bottle). Rolling Eyes

This was the irritant of the day.  A 1991 pop-up trailer covered in mildew, tree sap, and bird droppings as it sat behind a garage for years.  (Sorry about the shadow, it was late afternoon).

The mildew just laughed at me after I hosed it off.  So, out came the cyclo polisher and Sapphire Upholstery tool.  It was a pain trying to get the piping and even a bigger pain trying to pull the canvas tight while standing on a step ladder.  The end result was pretty good.

A better example was the other side since there was no shadow of the building next to me.

I still have to touch up the inside of the window storm flaps and water proof the canvas, but we have a severe storm on the way, so I closed it back up until tomorrow.

This was my first camper cleaning and there was a little bit of a learning curve to it, but the end results are good.  I don't think I want to make it a regular service, but if I get more calls (likely will) it will be at a much higher rate.

I'm sure winsol makes some product for canvas.

They make products for awning, glass, and everything else you can think of.

I am hoping I don't need to find better chems....don't really want to be cleaning campers, but like Matt said, you have to keep the lights on cleaning something.
