Just nasty....

Post by Matt; My carpet cleaner on Wed Oct 25, 2017 6:13 pm

So I did 2 rentals today. 1 had shampoo splattered all over. Wonder if it was intentional by ex tenent? But there were some unknown spills that as I went over with the RV, bleached out. Then a Hispanic guy came over asked if and how much...
Any way, I had to hurry home to get my boy from school and rush him to piano practice. so I didn't have time to empty the wastetank. As I'm picking him up, He comes to the van and says "water is dripping out side door".
We run home to get his books and swap van for car. Parked on gravel, not driveway- cuz dirty water dripping. Run him to practice, then when done went home.
-> heavy dripping coming from side door!!. Much more than earlier. I dumped the rest of water and inspect for the leak. The male threaded fitting that the gate valve attaches to; was deteriorating at end of threads. Causing a gap.
So I got to mess around with waste water today, hooray! Mmmmmm

Who's your carpet cleaner?

My Butler van will leak a little past the dump valve if there is more than 150 gallons in the tank. If I forget to dump after a job, there will be an army of flies and at least one buzzard circling over-head.
