finally....

finally....
So we moved into our new home just before Christmas 2016(a year and a month and half).
We finally got our presto log stove installed and plumbed!
Sitting at a low setting; 74°.
Presto log stove you ask? A Co. out of Spokane, Wa. makes them. 509 fabrication.
Why so long to have it installed, you ask? UL listing and EPA testing; need I say more?
The EP had no protocol for test emissions.
Oh, its(stove) emissions are so low, we don't have to worry about burn ban restrictions. We live in a valley and in the winter low clouds and stuff cause little air flow and smoke gets trapped, so for the breathing impaired, they restrict wood stove and even pellet stoves burning.
At low setting, will burn 3+ logs a day. Will heat 2-3000sf. Cost of about $1/log. Yep, $3 /day!!!!!

Re: finally....
Nice, I miss the old days with a woodburner, but then my access to free lumber isn't so good any more. Some day....
Re: finally....
You are not supposed to eat them and 20 per day seems like a lot for any woodchuck to handle.
