70 - 84 hours / week @ $ 15 / hour plus OT assuming 1.5 times ? That’s roughly $ 1275 - $ 1590 / week, damn that’s pretty damn good, especially if after 60 hours the OT is doubled ? Not sure how the law is there but here in CA I think after 60 or 70 hours, the OT rate is double the regular rate.
The only sucks part is you’re going to have to pay a lot more taxes, lol. Especially with the health insurance benefit, I’m sure that’s taxable ?
Well nonetheless, it’s always good to be able to work instead of staying home and doing nothing, I didn’t have any job last Friday all the way to Monday, 4 days off is way too much for me, I ended up cleaning my bathroom shower tile and cleaned my carpet, I can’t imagine how some people can enjoy not working, I guess I’m a workaholic ?

Re: Started Over
So you got a side job Dipy? Going on a string of days of no jobs messes with your head that's for sure.
Have you let go of your employees yet? Maybe it's time if you havent?

Re: Started Over
No Mo, no side jobs yet, and yes employees are pretty much gone, one guy is still helping me once a month for my monthly commercial job and another guy help me some saturdays, other than that I'm running solo which isn't so bad after getting used to it.

Re: Started Over
Actually, it is $17.30 / hr Dp right now. Overtime is calculated daily with all hours from 8-10 being 150% and any hours between 10 -12 is at 200%. So if you work a 12 hour shift you get paid 15 hours. You will not get rich, but it isn't bad for entry level unless you live in an expensive city.
