Honestly I got a Hoss because the thought of wanding only scared me after being away from the cleaning biz for so long....I thought a nice "helper" would be appreciated for the larger jobs....turns out it was all in my head, I can still wand with the best of em....The Hoss is awesome though! after getting in tune with it I turn to it really fast. Im betting its going to be used mostly for more difficult jobs (dirty) I still loke to wand and have the detail you get with it.

Has anyone tried the new vac slots for the Hoss? Instead of the metal slots, they offer a Teflon glide version.

I haven't tried it yet, reports are that they allow the Hoss to really float, but I wonder if you lose too much agitation?

I have moved to the Rotovac 360 XL's for a Rotary on each van.

Very Versatile in my opinion.

Also, for weight, just the right amount so we will still want to take it off the van, yet enough weight to be effective.

The handle bars also collapse, or you can take them out and turn around for storage.

Good cleaning overall and pretty good dry times.

Have tested going over after cleaning with our Zippers and really not getting any more moisture out in the site tube.

I have a Rotovac Playlist on m Youtube Channel

Looks like the larger head is a winner.

I can understand the lighter weight desire, but the best thing about the Hoss is the flexible head material. You can actually push it right up against the baseboard and it will flex allowing you to throw away the edging wand.

Every cleaner really should have a good rotary extractor (any of them) or else they are really missing out on a great tool.

Yeah, love the ability to get up against the baseboards with the XL.

Also the motor on and gear box are the same as the RX 20 so really beefy.

The weight is about 65 pounds I believe and comparable to the Hoss....

I haven't spent enough time with the Hoss...only used it at trade shows....so really can't comment more on it, but it is also a good unit.

I went with the Rotovac 360 XL because it was more versatile with head options, and it being more compact when needed in my already "Well stocked" ...or known as very full vans Smile

Just really turned out to be the correct item for us

The one thing about the Hoss that surprised me is that it isn't that great on cgd carpet. I think it skips too much on that fabric, but it has been the best tool in my arsenal on residential....I think they tried for the opposite.

I would love to add the 360i to the mix, but for now I will just drool.
