Don't you just love it when a small $200.00 dollar job turns into a BIG job?

did a mansion in the woodway neighborhood just north of seattle...

had to pump out a flood in the swimming pool mechanical room,   looked like some industrial plant

then 1 room of carpet downstairs,     then had to pack everything up drive to the other side of the property to go in a window for the other room of carpet because they just had like 3500sqft of hardwoods refinished and they wouldnt even let me go through the house with moving blankets laid down.

just gotta charge the super rich a lot more because sometimes its a huge pain working on enormous homes

Just curious, why didn't you just drag your hoses out around the outside of the home instead ? Seems like it would take a lot faster than to pack everything up and unpack again.

right? seriously the property was that big. all the way around to the backside would have been like 300 ft after wrapping around the driveway and landscape.. then up in the window

the house didnt go back nearly as far as it was wide. there was a whole second building that was larger than my house, I think for nannys or something.

My cousin lives in Woodway. He's got an indoor basketball court, racquetball court and swimming pool attached to the back of his house that is bigger than his house. Last time I was there they had just refinished the wood flooring on their indoor courts so we couldn't use them, but the pool was nice. Really nice neighborhood.

Last time I work on a real mansion, not only the complex has a man made small lake where you can boat, fish, etc, the home has underground 10 cars garage that has lamborghini and porsche, wine cellar that's about the size of my master bedroom, a game room that has 3 huge sectionals and a pool table, a theater room, of which all of those I mentioned were under ground ( under his backyard ) and when we get to the stairs, it turned out the stairs lead to it's back house which is about 1500 sq ft ( 2 bedrooms, 2 bath ), the main house probably about 8000 - 10,000 sq ft, the damage was $ 3400 for 4 straight hours work ( 2 guys ) unfortunately I was still working for someone, however I was making $ 700 from that job, that job triggered my desire to have my own company.
