Thanks for the heads up dp1- we use a truck mount and also have a few portables. Business after three years has thankfully been steady but still nowhere near what I anticipated going in, how about yourself, how long you been cleaning?

That's cool man ! I also have 1 portable and a couple of truckmounts, I've been cleaning since 2003, managed a bait and switch company for a couple of years until 2006 and started my own then with my brother in law, economy was so bad back then and we were in central california where there are a lot of farms, not making it to feed 2 families, so I left in good terms and come to LA on 2008, been here ever since.
What kind of truckmount you have ?

Welcome aboard, sir. We really could use for greener cleaners around here and another perspective.

Steady after 3 years is fantastic, don't sell that short. Remember, less than 20% even make it to the 3rd year, so you are one of the good ones. It should only get better from here.

What was weird for me is the first quarter which is normally the slowest was busy for me. April and May was down for me. We are finally getting some good weather so hopefully that changes things.

The real estate market here has topped out and prices have flat lined. There arent as many sales and the rental market is sky high so people are staying put

Around here, the busy season doesn't start until school ends for the year in late May....right now. After that, it normally gets pretty busy for residential and my commercial jobs explode since most of them depend on customer traffic.

With the Olympic Swim Trials, College World Series, etc. on the horizon, I normally get slammed pretty good for a couple of months. This year, I will be better prepared to handle it all now that I am cleaning full-time.
