Re: An email from an employee who quit after 10 days
. Last year I ran a van typically three to five days a week mostly cleaning carpets and doing sandless wood floor refinishing. This year I am working on building my sandless wood floor refinishing business (I do all the work) and full sanding (which I used to totally sub out). As much as I like cleaning carpets, The wood floors have me booked out for the next 5 weeks. Starting next week through most of the end of the year I expect the carpet business to be booked out about a week to a week and a half. Believe me after the crappy weather in Feb and March we need all the work we can to get caught up $$$.Ryan S wrote:Hey Joe, are you running a van too?
PS. I could probably work a lot less and make a lot more if I was either a one man show again, or paid the guys a lower rate. But, I can't put them out of work or reduce their pay - they are like family to me. And, they are also somewhat of an insurance policy. If something happens to me, I'll still have an income - Cost/Benefit.
