The trouble with tribbles....
"Can you clean this?", the customer asked me
"Yes, yes I can." I replied
"How much would it cost?" she asks.
" 2 dilithium crystals and an hour in a holosuite" was my reply.

LOl, that's what I thought at 1st. It's a seat for a girls desk. Just when you thought you've seen it all.

Re: The trouble with tribbles....
looks dangerous, I think I would pass unless there is a tag on it... I wouldnt want to buy some weird modern furniture if there was a mistake
Re: The trouble with tribbles....
If you were planning on using that detail tool, I would be concerned with it snagging on that thing and yanking out some of the fibers.
If I was to try it, I would invert it and apply some encap on a hair brush and work it in like you would brush your air. Keep the concentrations low and just brush it out. Same with rinsing, bucket of clean water and brush-rinse as you go and then set it in front of your air mover on low.
Still, I would probably pass on cleaning that thing...not efficient use of time.

Re: The trouble with tribbles....
I cleaned it no problem. All polyester. Qualified it of course, ALWAYS qualify it ( I can clean it but can't guarantee the results...). Millspec was dead on, the only prob. was the long yarns getting sucked into the relief valve at the top of my PMF tool. I just angled it away from the piece and no problem. Used Soils and Oils with HP. Lady was pleased, took 5 minutes. Still waiting to spend some time in the holosuite, lol. Who gets that reference? hint-Quark.
