Welcome Beucephlus D. Wayne.
This is our Fall Dinner Theater we hold every year at our church. It's a lot of good food, good folks, and good laughs. Tonight was opening night. We have 23 show from now till October. Just thought I'd share a few clips from the show.

Back in my student theater days, I always found that you can tell a good actor from a bad one by what they did with their hands. People never know what to do with their hands in front of an audience and you can often see them shake with actors that are unsure of their task.
Didn't see any shaking and you looked quite comfortable and purposeful with your hands...either training or natural talent does that. Nice work.

That's my second time up. Your right Rob, you feel weird with your hands, unsure what to do with them. I just tried to use them as I would in that situation. My brain was screaming my arms are just hanging out. Lol.
I do have a small bit of rocking going on. I'll work on that tomorrow night. Just a part of finding the natural feel.
It's a great script, which is easy to ride the wave. Which helps make a novas look like a pro.

I actually thought the rocking was intentional for the character
When you study people in the wild as they say, you will find some interesting things that they do with their hands. If the guy wears suspenders, he will often grab onto them and make adjustments. The same goes for a thick belt like Santa.
If you find yourself getting concerned about the hands, swat a fly from time to time...it would help slow the pace down a little and set the scene a little. You look natural up there, but I remember how scary it can be...you are doing a great job up there!!!

Yeah, that good advice, you just might see that in a future clip.
Each time it seems, I learn more, or should I say discover more about Beucy. It's an open book, so I have open freedom to make him who I feel he is. I mean, I have something to work off from in Uncle Darryl Lee, but I get to des over his true nature and personality.
Uncle Darryl Lee actually died this past May 1,2014. He was a great man and a funny character. Ever night I realize the honor of being his new write in replacement. Pretty cool!
