Re: joe banned?
I've learned a ton from Joe. His posts just on the use of peroxide are without equal. Anywhere.
I'm impressed that he sells peroxide yet says, "Hey, just go to your local pool supply store, it's easier for you and you'll save some money." NOBODY does that!
We often hear about IQ. That it's a measure of intelligence. That's really an oversimplification of it, but IQ is a major factor in the equation. The other major player in the formula is the lesser known EQ. It measures a persons ability to read and relate to others. It's not often known, but it's weight in overall intelligence is equal to IQ.
People with really high IQs often have lower than expected EQs. Mostly because, things come so easily for them, they lose patience with others who are slow to understand. They speak to people the way in which their brain operates. Quick, and to the point. This usually offends most people.
For example, someone makes a product, is proud of their product, has already received numerous compliments on their product, hears from a high IQer, "this sucks!" What they mean is, "it's nice, but with these improvements, it'll be great!" But it comes out as, "it sucks!"
High IQers process information so quickly and comprehend so clearly, in comparison, that it causes problems relating to us slower folks.
Of course, if we're offended, by anything, we're to blame. We are the only person on earth, who has ever lived and will ever live, that control our emotions.
I don't really know Joe that well. A handful of phone conversations. But I have come to the conclusion that's he's a high IQer. His EQ????
