I failed to finish my training for the Marine Corps Marathon this year and will not be attending as hoped. It really sucks, but what is worse is that my hotel was non-refundable so I am going to be out over $1,200 as well. It is a nice hotel that is a couple of blocks from the finish line, so it is easy walking distance.

Anyone know anyone going to the race who needs a room? Maybe I can work out a deal....rooms have been booked solid since June so it is a tough area to find a room.

Sounds like it could be a great opportunity for someone.......be nice to go there and see the sights again, but I can't right now.
