I'm still alive...finally.

After my computer crashed, I was going to just replace it, but then family got involved. I have a brother-in-law who is starting out on his own as a computer repairman / systems analyst...what-ever that means.

They begged me to let him repair it instead. Despite my concerns, I caved and let him take on the task last Wed. Well, I just got it back today...he did at least do a nice job, but he had to go with the scorched earth method and now I am trying to get everything updated and working together.

The funny part is that I couldn't access the site all week on my droid (I could only find the dead URL) and my work station gets blocked by the IT Nazis due to their filter. So, I have been in the dark this whole time.

I am almost fully restored, except I decided to upgrade my printer to a really nice Epson unit that was on sale, but it didn't include the USB cable to connect it to the computer nor a ethernet cable for wired network.

Maybe tomorrow...

Wow, sorry to hear of your computer probs, I know how frustrating that can be.

But glad you're back posting again.

I thought this site was dead for weeks. I kept typing "thecleanerslounge.com" and it kept sending me to a dead site. I figured out later that "forumotion" needed to be added.

That was the frustrating part, I couldn't find it on my phone. The only thing I got was that same dead link. It was really strange.

Glad to be back...at least the computer is a whole lot faster now.

I haven't been able to surf on thecleanerslounge.com every time I go there my phone, tablet or laptop would freeze and I have to restart them, I started a thread about it a few weeks back but apparently I was the only one with that issue, now everyone can't even get on there, a little help Mo ??

That's exactly what it did on my droid. The site would come up, but you couldn't click on anything as it just hangs. I have no idea why it does that, but it is fairly recent as I normally used my phone every day for the forum prior to last week.

Now it seems like the forumotion site is down and thecleanerslounge.com is up and working fine. Oh well
