Quickbooks training

Quickbooks training
I switched from caveman flint and steel to Quickbooks last year and it has been very useful, but I am still rolling around with training wheels with it.
Anyone attend a QB training course? Would you say it was worth it?
I have one in my area next month and I would really like to take better advantage of what QB can do for business organization, but I am always doubtful about the real value of these training events. They often resemble an iicrc course...useful, but you don't really come away with a strong handle of the subject until you get hands-on for a few months. Many times you would have learned as much just by doing the jobs instead of sitting through the class.
I just don't want to waste what little money I have these days with the full-time roll-out approaching in a few months.

Re: Quickbooks training
I never took a course.
If youtube doesn't get you the help you are looking for, then I would consider the training. I'd try to dig up what others think of it.

I never attend the course but Gerry Miller has taught me a few things that I couldn't figure out, I'm sure he can answer some questions for you too.

Re: Quickbooks training
I only know the basics. My book keeper is pretty good. If you can, I think taking the class would help. Basically it takes time to learn. Practice inputting some older invoices. I think first u need to input company info. Must make a Item list. This is a list of all your charges tagged to Sales. Took me awhile to figure this out. Good luck. Let me know if I can help.
