ICE Expo......Anybody going?

Are any of you going this year?? We are going this will be the first event we have gone to. Always wanted to go but either to much work and no time or to much time and no work.

I am thinking about it. Does anyone know if it a lot or a little like the connections show in spetember?

There is a trade show right?

I wasn't planning on it, but I haven't ruled it out. I like events like these, but I never seem to have the time.

I have been cleaning for 7 years now. This is the first year we honestly can afford to go...in both ways money and work. I could never take the risk to miss work even if I had the money.
Or no work but no money, what money I made always seemed to go back into the dam filter, or my other projects.
We are not going like we have money like Royalty, but not too stressed about it either. 7 flipping years and finally getting to go I am super excited to go and get to meet some of the guys I have been talking to on the forums I think we are going to have a awesome time just getting to meet everybody.

It's going to be on January 29th and 30th at South Point hotel and casino resort.
I'm not sure if I'll be going but I'll definitely think about it, too bad they always do these events close to the end of the week and the end of the month, those are usually our busier times due to move out cleaning, etc.

I'd like to go to one one these deals one year, but it's not going to be this time because I'll be in the middle of my TM restoration project by this time next week.......actually starting and I'll be pulling the TM out tomorrow.

Dave, let's go to next year expo and crash it ? LOL

As a matter of fact we all should set it on our calendar and meet and hang out, what do you think Rob, Mo, Matt, Eddy, Ken, Andy, Gerson, Eric, and whoever else I forget to mention ?

I like the idea. The only vacation I have planned is a couple of weeks in Maui, but that isn't for another year yet.

Last years was pretty cool. You get his deals on stuff and you can twat some stuff out. A treat for those that don't have a disti nearby.

id go if they planned these things in the winter, why right in the busy season? I could have 1 van still run while Im gone but would lose a good chunk of money if I was gone and the other van wasnt running

plus I feel like I can find most all the same stuff online, just cant try it

I always wish it would be during the winter as well, but there will always be a disappointed group no matter what time you might choose. What is slow in one place might be busy for another.

As for translating Mo's post.... I think he had more fun that he admitted to. Paging Dr. Freud, or even Dr. Bombay for that matter.

Ummm, I thought it's still winter now ? And I think ice expo is always on the winter hence the name "ice" expo ?

What I meant to say is that the distributors at the show offer the show attendees discounted pricing and you can test the equipment before you buy.

So I just arrived in Vegas and played a game in my tablet and something popped up from magic wand about ice expo, apparently ice expo is this week ( from Wednesday through Friday ), I'm thinking is it worth it paying $ 60 just to attend one day ?
They don't have a TM as giveaway this time

I dislike Vegas so I would not go to ICE again, but since you are already there, I would go. You would probably get your $60 back on a single discounted purchase....assuming there is something there that you wanted.

Lol, we ended up going to st george, utah, so no time to see the expo, I might check the expedition this year ( is that what they call the other carpet cleaning expo ? ), if they have it in Vegas, if they have it in Florida I'm going to have to think about it.

I would do Florida before Vegas, but the time of year would have to be right.

So the experience is what they call it and they have it twice a year, in April 24th - 26th I think ? They are going to have it in Florida, Clearwater to be exact, the one in Vegas is in September, that's not a good time for me especially towards the end of September.
So I guess I won't attend either one. Oh well.
Mo, next year ice expo ? They are pretty smart to have it done in January, it's slow time for cleaners.
