todays job video
Wet to visit a friend today, and noticed he could use a good carpet cleaning, so fired up the TM and gave a carpet cleaning gift while I was over there.

Re: todays job video
Nice job, both the cleaning and the helping of a buddy.
I am really liking that machine, looks good in the van.

Cool, does that 360i maneuver like the 175 ? tilt up and down to go right and left ? How's the drying time compare to wand ?

Re: todays job video
I think the 360i is getting a new head on it as well....much like the rx-20.

Re: todays job video
handles just like a 175, My technique was off a bit cause I was talking to my friendd the whole time, lol
Dry time is around 1 to 2 hours longer then a wand.
If you would have a 3 hour dry with a wand then same job would be 4 to 5 hours. I use quad head, puts out more water then the 3 head , but cleans faster and better.

Re: todays job video
Love the 360, only 30lbs.. really nice and easy to carry around. Dry times are better than wand if your flushing deeper, but a light low pressure cleaning with a wand can dry just as fast
We dont 360 the harder access or crowded homes, townhouses etc but wide open huge empty houses its the fastest cleaning, I think its even faster than encaping if your 360 is set up right.
its a good idea to have multiple heads for it, one high flow and one medium flow
we clean a lot of large upscale empty homes for sale in the summer/busy season, these houses are not very dirty especially upstairs but are big floor plans
we run the lower flow 360 head and it just plows through them, you can walk it really fast and still get a great cleaning with quick dry times, with a wand its slower and a lot of strokes
those are really the main advantages, still use a regular wand all the time

Re: todays job video
Well, I'll tell you that your "off" technique would be better than mine, lol.
I don't get it, so you're saying it's faster to clean with 360i ?? my buddy said that it takes longer to clean with any kind of rotary cleaning machine ?? although he said that rotary will clean better than wand on dirty carpets, which I think all of us would agree, I don't have any fancy schmancy rotary cleaning machines, except for t&g spinner.

Re: todays job video
No, I said the 4 head is faster cleaning then the 3 head,
It's still slower then a wand , by maybe 10 - 20% ?
but so much easer to use.
Now on a trashed carpet it may be faster then a wand, because you don't need any pre scrub and reduces the need to do any spotting,

Re: todays job video
Its faster for us, but the 360 has to be adjusted a bit. And only faster on big huge empty homes... but it is a lot faster on those at least 30%
for occupied homes, small townhomes or crowded areas its not worth it to use, or smaller jobs in general.
If you have large empty rooms that are not super dirty (usually big homes are cleaner, especially rooms that get little use) you can speed walk with the 360 and still get 2-3x as many passes as a wand up and back will do plus you literally wont break a sweat on a 5k sq ft home

Re: todays job video
Interesting, Do you use the 3 head or the 4 head?
I think what makes it slower for me, is all the slow dry passes that I need to do. The 4 head is high flow and it soaks the heck out of the carpet, cleaning is fast but the with all the dry passing it makes it slow.
Perhaps a low flow on my 3 head would speed me up, on the les dirty stuff?

Re: todays job video
I guess it all depends on the situation, if you have really dirty carpet that has had lots of rug doctors or bissell cleans then the 360 is much faster to get all that soap flushed out
if you have dirty carpet that you crb first then wand is prob faster once its been scrubbed
For really dirty carpet I prefer to crb it then wand rather then slower passes with 360

Re: todays job video
yes we have multiple heads Andy, both are 4 head
for huge open homes we run a lower flow, that way you can do really fast dry passes and it almost doesnt need them. If you run into a slightly dirtier area you can just slow down a bit
we dont use the high flow head unless its for flushing pet stains (works really well for that) or if the carpet needs lots of soap residue flushed out
one thing that I think speeds up the 360 also is getting an inverter on the van so you can just strap the power cord to your vac line
that way it doesnt really seem like you have an extra line to deal with

Re: todays job video
I have two heads , so I'll get one of them on low flow and give it a try, did you get the low flow jets from Joe?
Thanks

Re: todays job video
A few things;
The vac hose on the RV is? 2"? 1.5"?
Anyone used or hear of someone using the new 15" head? Feed back?
What psi you using? Tried or thought of going slightly lower? Like from 450-500 down to 350ish.
