It's Electric
I normally don't clean auto upholstery but I made and exception for this repeat customer and cleaned one seat
Re: It's Electric

The electric cars are actually getting cheaper. This car plugs into her regular outlet 220 I would imagine and she's on solar power. I sure would hate to get in an accident in that thing.
Re: It's Electric
220 or 110/120?

At least it has more protection than a motorcycle.
Do the make a TM that will fit in there?

Re: It's Electric
I'd rather be on a M/C, I'd at least have a chance of flying clear of the wreckage then!..And some Horse Power to possibly avoid the runaway shopping cart.

No, but you can rent a rug doc that you might be able to shoe horn in there.

I heard that instead of an air bag in the steering wheel, it has a coin tray that you end up being crushed to fit in a wreck.
Re: It's Electric
I say in another 30 years all the car will look like that. They already do in Europe.
Re: It's Electric
Europe is a whole different animal.
The roads are narrow, fuel prices outrageous, families smaller, commutes shorter, and you can often drive to another country in a day's drive. Some areas don't even allow a non-business to own a truck of any kind.
Those with money and status in many parts of Europe are driving large American cars, mini-vans, and trucks, so it will come down to the economy as to what cars look like.
I still remember how the large car was supposed to be dead back in the mid-70's with the influx of MG Midgets, Renaults, and Fiats....economy changed and everyone was driving dual axle trucks for a work commuter.
