new solution line, best ive used so far
went back to the parker paraflex, this is the newer version powerclean. best hose ive ever used, 150ft feels like about 5lbs
sheiffer skinny is like 50+lbs for 150ft so this is really nice on the arms and tired body, also the memory isnt as extreme as the earlier version
another plus over the skinny is its not so hot to the touch, really retains heat well.. im guessing the ATW temps went up a bit just based on how hot the sheiffer gets

Re: new solution line, best ive used so far
Did you put on those crimps? I like the fact that it doesn't get too hot to the touch. You have a link?
Re: new solution line, best ive used so far
no that was ordered from Joe, he did the crimps and installed the cool cover on the QD
You can get parflex from probably a number of places online
interlink says they have it but doesnt look the same in the pic
Im running 160ft on the live reel now, really cuts time out of the set up never needing extensions

Dang, I just got my latest order from Joe and he never mentioned that hose. Then again, he knows that I hated parflex the first time I tried it 5 years ago in the middle of winter.
I've been meaning to try it again, I think maybe I will. What is the temp rating on it?

It's not steal braided right (doesn't look like it)?.....that's why it's light.
I've always hated SB hose, and how heavy it is and the way it handles, so I've never used it more than a day before going back to my fiber reinforced hoses.
I'm surprised you don't have bent restricter on the end?

Re: new solution line, best ive used so far
I'm currently negotiating a cleaners lounge group pricing with a couple of distributors of this hose.
They would like to know how many people are interested in purchasing the hose and how many feet or sections of hose.
Post your interest here or PM me.

its 1.99/ft
for some reason the bend restricter came separate in a different package, maybe Joe was out of them.

The disti at Controlled Motion was going to get a deal below 1.80 per square foot but its not worth the hassle.
You Wanders supporters get it through them. For you guys that don't do business with wanders call Hose and Fittings the link is above their retail price $185.00/ sq ft

Re: new solution line, best ive used so far
I called parker and they said suggested retail was $6 lol
The $1.99 is a steal if its any good.

Yeah, or $ 1.99 / foot ? Parker is supposedly top of the line, although I don't like it, it's going in circle too much for me.

Wow!!
I always thought steel braided hoses were able to sustain heat better that regular hose? That's not the case?

Re: new solution line, best ive used so far
At least you got a price Devon, I was told that it varied by source.
I like the concept, but at that price, it isn't going to work running 300 foot lines for me.
The steel braid loses heat faster in winter....not sure about summer.

Re: new solution line, best ive used so far
She just said thats suggested....they wish! but you can always count on it being at least half the Suggested Retail price. I think its a good price at $199 or less....but DP brings up a good point....will it coild to much? if so does it eventually calm down? can you sit in the van while "it" cleans for you?
Rob....good point as well....I would think the steel braid would change temp quicker in winter and freeze quicker....doesnt the Parker look like its got a braid of maybe fiberglass or something to hold temps away from each other to insulate? (outside temp vs inside temp)
