Marketing Tip for the Lounge
Okay, there has to be some value in belonging to a board like this, so here you go. This is an easy marketing tip that none of you have probably thought of yet and will kick yourself for missing this opportunity your entire business life.
You all want to cover your immediate neighborhood right?
You want to find homes with children as bachelors never clean anything....just look inside my microwave some time right?
You want it to be very inexpensive, right?
You also want it to take minimal effort, right?
Well, here is a little marketing trick I use which has achieved all the above.....include your business flyer with the candy you hand out on Halloween.
Start kicking yourself now for missing that one

If he poses like in his avatar, he doesn't need a pit bull

For those of you who are on Angie's List. How has it been working for you? How much has it been costing? Always looking for ways to get GOOD customers.

RR, AL is great ONLY if you already have minimum a few reviews on there, if you don't, I wouldn't waste your ad money with them.

Get your free biz page listed on there, and start building reviews as fast as you can. Do not give in to their pressuring you to advo with them until you first have enough reviews that you're getting calls from them on a regular biases.
To me, it seems no different than it was on Yelp. The phone isn't really going to ring until you get to that point of having enough good reviews, where you're being ranked towards the top, and people are seeing you advo or not. For me that was about 12 5star reviews on /Yelp, and now I have about 60 and it's non stop calls without paying them to advo.
AL, I'm at about 9 great reviews now, so I think I'm just shy of that point ( I hope),.............But I have some stiff competition on AL. You have to figure that in too, I think.
Also, the calls/customers I get from AL are wonderful!!!........high end homeowners, that never balk at my higher end pricing.
Whata waiting for?.......get on there and start building those reviews!!!!...it's free, just like Yelp to put your biz on there. And just like I told my buddy, DP, don't short yourself by not charging those AL customers enough.

Yeah Rainbow get listed ASAP. Personally if were new to AL and had the budget I would pay to advertise you'll get reviews quicker that way
