Does your TNT have less vacuum
Just found out something for you tnt operater's. If your unit doesn't seem like it has the vacuum it used too here's something to check. Pull the elbow that connects the blower to the waste tank and look inside the tank. There's a set of cross bars that helps keep debris from getting to the blower it maybe restricted if so clean and look into replacing the blower exhaust muffler. As per Les from judson. That's what he told Ryan to check and his was clogged. Just thought I'd pass on the info.

Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
That is a good tip.....I always wondered why there wasn't a filter screen located in there?

Maybe Ryan will post some pics.

(Cough...cough....excuse me, just had some lemonade go down wrong)
Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
Yeah that grate is to prevent something from getting in the blower. Ryan should probably check that dump valve too. I know I have a leak out of there.

Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
If you're using an inline filter and with the way the tank is designed, there shouldn't be anything there but it should be checked.
Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
Even with a good inline filter, you can get a very solid ball of soap scum to plug things up or even a glob of built up grease from restaurant jobs.
As long as you don't fill that waste tank up to the point that it sucks water into the blower, you should be okay. I would still like to see a filter of some kind in that inlet.

Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
Just checked out one today while serving a unit for a customer he was saying that it didn't have the suction it used to have. So I checked it and pulled out a lint ball half the size of a baseball. Needless to say with the air flow restored his suction came back up.

Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
Yea I agree with Rob. That not having a filter on the blower side inlet would worry me also.
I've used a couple different inline filers the last several years, and never start the machine without it hooked up. But after a month or two, my big filter in my waste tank/blower inlet is packed with debris, and why I've never considered removing it for the added suction boost some claim. If I don't clean it for awhile the drop in suction becomes real noticeable.......and this is a big filter, about 4" in Dia., and 10" or so long.

I think that would be nice. I like Ryan, and he's very knowledgeable, But something happened awhile back that caused him to no longer participate here..........I'm not really sure what happened, and am not trying to cause any trouble, just simply trying to explain.

Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
In every family, brothers fight....no different here. Sometimes it takes awhile before things get restored. Ryan is doing well and is still growing a strong company, so we will cross paths again at the right time.
Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
Good for you Mo, let's see if he takes the olive branch.
In the end, it comes down to you and Ryan, I would support either decision.

Post this on the Lounge for me
Ryan
Guys, glad you all are doing well. I spoke to Eddie yesterday, and he relayed the message from the lounge to me. Glad to see my discovery has helped some of you and possibly, others down the road. Thanks to those of you who expressed intrest in my participation. I had a great run here for 8 months while the forum gained momentum. Just as in many small businesses, when growth begins, sometimes folks are lost during the transition for different reason. In this case, my welcome was worn thin, and decisions were made. I reached out to Mo back in the late winter about coming back to post. It was during this time, after several months of not participating on discussion forums, I relized, it was selfish, to keep my experience and knowledge to myself. On Christmas day, I logged back onto my TMF account and got back to work. I have been working on several different projects, and look forward to seeing them through. At this point, I believe Mo has made his decision on the direction of The Lounge, and who will best benefit its efforts during that period. I'm doing well, and as always, constantly developing my skills, knowledge, and experience as I grow my business and interact with our industry. Feel free to contact me via email, phone, Google+, or some of your favorite's, my YouTube account, user name: cleanthread.
Best Regards,
Ryan

Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
I wrote a response to this about who actually reached out to who, why he trashed me bla bla bla but I just deleted it.
Im 53 years old and this is just fuckin childish. If he wants to post he needs to call me. If he prefers that I call him let me know ACE I lost his phone number. If he doesn't want anything to do with me fine. If we speak and we can see eye to eye then se la vi.

Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
Not upset with you Eddie, in fact I apologize to you for being put in the middle of this drama.
Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
I guess some families were only meant to see each other during holidays.
You gave it a shot Mo, hats off to you for that. Maybe some other day then.

Re: Does your TNT have less vacuum
Geezz what did I start now!?!
Eddie, this is NOT you fault..............no worries man!
So we now know Mo is Old lol, and Ryan is young.....I wish they could just let whatever it is go in the past with a biggg Hug!
I just miss Ryan posting because I thought he was a real asset to the forum, if not that ez I understand. Ryan is one if not the only one of the few newer guys in this biz, I've actually learned from, I appreciate that knowledge. If I'm the only one that feels this way, then I'm sorry for starting the trouble by mentioning him.
