Re: rug cleaning in a bad ass garage
nah got some new brochures coming soon though.. window cleaning, rug cleaning, updating the pet damage one, and adding some new pics to the tile one.
also making one for all services combined in one.
customers respond well to them and usually talk about the last guy who just took a check and left after writing a little paper receipt thing..
having nice point of sale + material really goes a long way with customers

Re: rug cleaning in a bad ass garage
Thats is nice. What if you would have scratched that nice paint job with your wand
Re: rug cleaning in a bad ass garage
not a super new one but he has a ton of work into it, I think its an 04
Re: rug cleaning in a bad ass garage
If I clean onsite I would normally put the rug on a tarp put that floor looked clean
Re: rug cleaning in a bad ass garage
Cool garage and car !!
Did you clean the rug in the 2nd picture with the wand ?? It looks like a Persian rug ?

Re: rug cleaning in a bad ass garage
I would really hope it wasn't an authentic persian rug, but he also cleaned a red shag rug so it must be a fake.
It would be one strange dude to have a 70's red shag rug next to a 20k persian rug. Then again, with a garage like that.....who knows.

It does have that hand made look, DP. And looks like faint wand marks.
Defiantly a Better Homes & Gardens, or the Lowe's Catalog garage, and a nice car for the wife.

Re: rug cleaning in a bad ass garage
yes it was hand made they bought it in europe a long time ago and their little dogs had been pissing on it
I told her I dont clean those but she insisted I just go for it and she had no attachment to the rug if it didnt work out.
I vac'd it real good, sprayed it with encap and deodorizer, spun a loopy bonnet over it.. then rinsed at 250psi matrix rinse with no heat.
cleaned up pretty well, I passed on it at first but just when I was about to pack up she said just go for it I dont care if it shinks or bleeds. she just really wanted the pee smell gone
it was a new kinda fancy shag rug, cant remember what the tag said
Turned out to be a pretty good job, about 2.5hrs 380$ and she tipped me $60

not a wife car lol, 750hp she would kill herself down shifting in a corner
that thing is a beast, you can kinda see in the pic how wide the rear wheels are.. looked like 10.5 at least
Re: rug cleaning in a bad ass garage
$ 440 for 2.5 hours job not bad at all, but out of curiosity, how much do you charge her for the Persian rug ? It looks like 8 x 10 or 9 x 11 ? I usually charge minimum $ 2.50 / sf for Persian rug if they don't care about bleeding or shrinking, I'm not telling you what to do but I think you should charge her more for the Persian rug considering you pad cap it before rinsing.

We'll have to agree to disagree. Just like a dude driving a Miata, no matter how much HP it's making, unless 'she' tracks it, then that would be a different story.
But dudes driving those cars around town?....maybe he just hasn't come out yet.

Could be that too, but usually around here it's a big Crew Cab 4x drive with monster truck tires on it........the type the lil guy needs a ladder to get in to.

Were planning an intervention for Dave in Vegas to see if we can help. Oops I wasn't supposed to say anything.
