Spoke to a manager Empty Spoke to a manager

Post by Mo Mon Sep 21, 2015 11:09 am

A manager from Proycon reached out to me over the week end. He wanted to apologize for falling short on some orders that were placed by a few guys her at the lounge. He would like to donate a case of the custom spotters to the lounge and also offer a 10% discount of the custom spotters for the month of October.

I spoke to him about the need for receiving tracking information on on line orders and also about the lack of a Proycon container when ordering the powder. He was very grateful for the feed back.

How do you guys want to give away the case of the Custom Spotter? Ideas? If you were planning on ordering the custom spotter and want that discount PM me.

The free case is of the custom spotters that you would give away or sell to your customers

Great...I just paid a premium...I called today to get a tracking number and they said they needed to call me back as someone didnt have a key to something....LOL anyway I was nice and she said she would email it to me...I got an email with no tracking but a date of when it should be here. not sure why I was the bastard child on this. Its good they tried to make it right publicly but privately......... nothing!

It was in a box if they ship the 50 pounder in a box it's going to be a bigger box and it better be a strong box

I was thinking that we give the case to our new member tackling that Hampton Inn, but since they are more of a give / sell to residential customers product, it probably wouldn't be any help.

Now if Procyon gave a case of their Extreme to the kid....that would be impressive. Just a thought if they are paying attention. wink

Post by Devon07 Tue Sep 22, 2015 5:33 am

I don't think anyone is paying attention, Its rather insulting on my end.

What procyon needs to do is buy an add in here.,...they screw up then make some extra sales off of it? I understand company problems, I also UNDERSTAND its important to fix them. I don't want anything out of this at all, but never once was an apology mentioned or any reaching out on my end.

What should happen is procyon should buy ad space and help support the site that supports them....Mo, I'm sure may have an interest being it does cost to run this thing....but, then again I don't see any ads so maybe Mo doesn't want the site to perform that way. Mo, is this your therapy? I know it can be for me.....I also know Ive left this site directly to purchase things Ive learned about in here, PROCYON being one, Cobra tool being one, many chemicals, my spinner, Sanitaire vacuum, the HOSS 700, CRB machine, to name a few...I lurked for a little while. So you can see the VALUE this forum brings to manufacturers!

Procyon seemed to be more interested in pleasing Mo than the ones who got banged around....this directly shows you the value of this board! This is our voice....if they care, they need to make it their voice too. I sure wouldn't step in and take advantage of a bad move my company made to advertise free. this looks terrible from my perspective. Sorry to rant but its how I feel. I care about MY customers is why I even purchased a product that appears to have little interest in their customer.

If I don't have a voice, I don't have a place to talk. This is meant to be taken as constructive.

Devon you definitely have a voice here man. You are a major contributor to this forum and it's appreciated.

When I sent that complaint on line I did send it as the administrator of a forum that had a few members with ordering issues.

The widget on the side I did on my own they had nothing to do with that. I didn't get much feed back yesterday on how to give this case away and wanted to make everyone aware of the discount so I thought that might spur some ideas.

By the way, apparently the "carpet and upholstery" version was designed with portables in mind. The "extreme" seems to be suggested for truck mounts.

They both seemed to work well with a mount, so it isn't a big issue, but just thought I would throw that out there.

The recommended dilution ratio for upholstery pre spray with the powder is 2 oz per 5 gallon this stuff must really be highly concentrated gotta watch that ph don't want to screw anything up

I hesitate to say "raving" about, but it did clean well enough to consider it as a staple on the truck.

The sample is enough for a house job, but that is about it. I think you need twice that to be able to make a decision.

It is the "chem du-jour" right now on several boards, but it will probably be replaced soon.

If you are big on the "no odor" service, it is a must try product. If not, I don't see it replacing any other presprays on the truck.

I am a little curious about the powder stuff....how does it compare to Oxyblaster Mo?

I canceled jobs this week due to this pinched nerve so I haven't even tried it. Procyon was a product I tried 8 years ago and wasn't impressed with it. Andy McFadden brought this sucker back to life they definately changed the ingredients.

That sucks, I deal with that still and it is no fun.

That is the problem with cleaning floors, people stop looking up and the neck suffers.
