Thefurniturecleaners.com is for sale
I'm posting this for a friend, he's going to auctioned off one of his website soon due to retirement, it is a little high if you ask me, $ 6 grand, if any of you are interested let me know, somehow someway I'll get you two together, no commission for me whatsoever, just helping an old buddy out.

Re: Thefurniturecleaners.com is for sale
My point was that the cost is unrealistic you can the URL above and achieve the same results for a lot less money
Re: Thefurniturecleaners.com is for sale
I agree, 6 grand is a lot, but if you're a national company, that can easily worth 6 grand or may be more.
I'm just a messenger, I'm just helping him out, there might be no market for it from the members of any cleaning forum but at least that will boost the rating of that website if any one is looking to buy that very particular website.

The price is not too much for the right person to assume. I just don't know who that right person is right now.
Between the web designer, all the work to establish its presence online, and any name recognition it might have....that price probably isn't bad.

Yeah it kind of like real estate. The value is what some one is willing to pay
Re: Thefurniturecleaners.com is for sale
Not to change the subject but doing it anyway. I despise upholstery cleaning. I don't think I'm charging enough. Couch 175, loveseat 125, sectional 15 per linear foot. What are you guys charging?

LOL, same here, I charge $ 20 / foot, so for sofas ( average 7' ) is $ 140 and love seats ( average 5.5' ) $ 110, sectional still $ 20 / foot, if the fabrics are white or off white, from $ 25 - $ 30 / foot, I wouldn't negotiate at all on these prices, unless if the fabric is polyester and they have carpets too, then I'll give them 10% discounts.

My prices are about the same as yours Rainbow, but I am actually okay with them as I can move through them pretty quick.
Still, as the saying goes, if you don't like your job, you aren't getting paid enough.

Milspec6,
Unfortunately the paradise tax is a little higher than Nebraska. I am increasing some of my prices. Have a restaurant in Waikiki we've been doing once a month for over fifteen years. I sent them a letter along with last months invoice informing them I was raising the price from $400 to $550 since we have never increased the price. I hate to raise rates on long time customers. We've been doing the Pizza Huts for over thirty years and only raised the prices a few times. Unfortunately most of them have either closed or converted to delivery. At least we do the call center on a regular basis.

I feel the same way, despite the lower taxes in my area. I have only raised my prices 2x in 6 years, but will probably have to do it again soon.
I think as long as you make it a gradual increase, it isn't objected to. My last increase was spread out over 8 months and by the time it reached the new full price, nobody even noticed it.
