So I had my first colonoscapy.
Dr. Said, "everything came out alright".
...clean as a whistle. But I would reuse that whistle if I was you.
Here's a note for your wife. Your head was not in there.
The Dr office is across the street. Pull your pants up. And IF you need dental work, I'm your guy.
I don't care what your friends say, your not full of......

Colonoscopy procedures are a very strange thing. I have had to endure 4 of them and I was present for others on 2 occasions. Although they put you out and you remember nothing, you are actually awake the entire time and answering questions, telling stories, etc.

I remember how confused I was after the first one. One minute I was on the table and the next I was fully dressed, sitting in a locker room, and eating breakfast. I had zero memory of anything in between.

There is a reason that the GI guys have such a strange sense of humor and if you ever find yourself attending one of those procedures, you will understand why.

Mo, a colonoscopy is a very easy thing to deal with....the prep the night before isn't so great, but the procedure itself is nothing.

I remember the doctor telling me that I had the option of being awake under a local or unconscious? I have no idea who would want to have a memory of that procedure, but I elected to be out. He gave a nod to the nurse and then they all waved good-bye....I was out that fast.
