Currently watching the 88th Oscars

I wasn't able to watch it last Sunday (right?) cuz I'd rather sleep and rest. LOL but watching now and I got to say, I didn't see much variety of movies now than before. I mean all the nominated are usually the same on almost all categories. But hooray Leo. The internet got broken by your win. In both a good and bad way. Good, as a lot are waiting for this moment as much as you do. Bad, because such a good meme has died

I am not a fan of the current awards show nor of many of the movies produced these days....I guess I am just getting old.

Leo should not have one this time, but I thought he could have for some past projects. It is just a case of politics deciding the outcome and why I don't really care for the awards shows.

Movies of today can't touch the quality that was being produced 50-60 years ago. The dialogue is bad, the plots suck, and there are no good character actors these days like in the past.

Give me "Casablanca" or "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest" any day over any of the movies celebrated by Oscar night.

I'm way too busy to be watching Oscar, lol.
Just got done with my taxes earlier in the week, that's why I didn't post much, at least after paying huge quarterly payments, I have a whopping $ 197 refunds, welll technically not a refund cause I put it back towards next year quarterly payments, lol.

Any time you get through this time of year without writing a check to the IRS is a big success.

I just started working on mine with fingers crossed and candles lit.

Award show are for celebs egos.
No one watches them.
Who won "best picture 2 years ago?"
Who won " best actor 3 yes s ago?"

That movie was pretty good. That bear mauling scene was crazy.
