Carpet cleaning Vacuums Empty Carpet cleaning Vacuums

Post by Isabella.R Wed Mar 09, 2016 9:12 pm

Hi guys
This is just to get an idea about which kind of vacuum cleaner can I go with when it comes to carpet cleaning?
My friends have told me to go in with an upright cleaning system from Vacmaster, Canada. I would like to get a final solution for my question through this thread, Is it fine if I go in with such upright cleaning systems or is there any other suggestions as such?

There are plenty of options out there from the dual vac motors to all sorts of options. For me, I like to use Kirby uprights. They can be kept polished up, have good suction, and every residential owner is aware of a Kirby vacuum's power and reliability. Even better, the parts don't vary much between years.

You can normally find a good used Kirby local for $250 and never need another one again.

Yeah Im a Kirby fan too. Its not plastic built like a tank very reliable. The number one reason home owners don't like it is because it heavy. Thats the reason I like it. The weight and brush speed is the reason it vacdc good.

It depends on your needs, do you have any pets ? If you do, dyson is great for pet hairs.
Do you have any carpeted stairs ? If you do, I would recommend canister vacuum, dyson also makes canister vacuum if you have pets and carpeted stairs, they are not cheap though, about $ 500 brand new.
I personally like canister vacuum because it can go under furnitures and beds easily.

you can watch side by side videos of the Bissell Clean view ($79) out cleaning several very expensive vacuums

has great suction, better than my commercial sanitaire and better than my older g2 kirby

once its nasty dirty from a bunch of jobs you just set it aside and buy a brand new one.

Then every once in a while I go through the older ones to clean them out thoroughly

Isabella.R,

If you ever do return to this thread, try doing a search on vacuums, I'm thinking there's at least a couple threads about this very question already. laughing
