what is it? Im looking at a hoover 18inch wide commercial and also considering the 18in wide royal

other possibilities are backpack vac like pro team, starting to like the idea of the pro team more and more really looks professional

this is just for when we really need it and area rugs, also getting debris off of tiles floors before we clean.

Go with the Royal.

I have a couple of ProTeam vacs (not the backpack though) and paid a ton for them originally. They are pretty good vacuums and do look professional, but were not very durable for the money.

The Panasonics are actually good workhorses for cheap, but may not look that great.

I think the best vacuums are built by Tacony these days. Everyone that I have used were very impressive, solid builds, strong vac, and US built.
