I have mainly been a commercial cleaner to date, but I am starting to get a stream of residential work. I have a couple of PMF Ti wands (15 inch), a PCQ, the old Mytee Benteley, and a VT12 wand with 1.5 inch tube. I like the PCQ a great deal for its size, but the dry times are definitely slower due to that 1.5 inch tube...same problem with the VT12.

What I am looking for is a true 2 inch tube, 12 inch low-profile head, 4-jet, with great vacuum recovery. I actually prefer the SS wands for some weight when working residential, but a Titanium is okay too. I just want the maneuverability without losing water recovery.

I could re-jet my PCQ (it is an 8 flow right now) but I do like the higher flows for pet urine flushing and heat levels as the direct drive units are much hotter with higher water flows.

Any suggestions?

I bought my wand and tile wands from Dang. Admiringly, I don't clean carpet everyday, but they seem like nice tools from the time I have used them. The wand is at the right angle for me, being six foot three.
Mine are only 1 1/2 inch tubes though, if I remember right.

That is my problem right now, the tube size. I actually like the PCQ, but it isn't a true 2 inch tube either. I read a listing last night where they claimed that the new PCQ was 2 inch, but I can't seem to confirm it anywhere else.

If someone built a PCQ clone with a 2 inch tube, they would have a huge winner.

I don't know if Tony builds them in house, but you could ask.

Maybe Joe builds them, but I don't know if you deal with him.

Personally, I would want a wand that is built for my height. Makes pushing it much more comfortable. I have another old wand that came with another machine I bought that made me hunch over to wand. Running it very long made my back and shoulder hurt.

I agree on the custom height issue although I don't think it is an issue on residential where you are always maneuvering around objects anyway so your angle isn't static. On commercial where I am straight wanding for 5-7 hours, the right length and angle is vital.

Tony definitely will make you wands according to your requests, not sure about Joe, he might ?
I don't have any suggestions on ready made wands based on your specs, but I believe with your height, any stock wands would have perfect length for you as they are usually designed for 6'1" - 6'3" height.
