calm before the storm
This is usually the busiest 10 days of the year for me. A large complex requires the tenent to hire a CC. I usually do 10-20 units there. I mailed postcards; Just 1 job there sofar. ;( Alot of student move outs and i do work for a hand full of PMs. 1 PM sent me a list of 15 that will be clearing out by the 31st. I sent txt to afew more PMs to give them a heads up of limited schedule time available. + I have a church that said he has 2 large room to do; when I have time. Tried to knock one out this week: but the Pastor is gone taking HIS boy back to school.
This week so far: just 1 job- half a church. ;(
Next week- a Tornado week for sure.
My estimate on what I usually do:
15 from PM.(current list)
about another 10+ from individual landlords.
other PMS; another 10-15
2 Pms south of me, i txtd them to give a heads up on available time; didnt sound like they have any.
checked my phones this a.m. to see that incoming call were getting thru....
hardly any calls. ugggggggggg
and next week is only 4 days till the 31st.
time to sponsor another workshop for Pms... "how to evict tenents, so your carpet cleaner can clean more".

Re: calm before the storm
Crazy isn't it? I normally finish the fall with a flurry as well and I am in the middle of a storm at the Zoo, but virtually nowhere else. The phone remains quiet with just a good referral job on the 31st on the schedule.
I am busy, but there is a flood upstream that isn't coming down yet.....maybe next month will be the dam breaking?

Re: calm before the storm
Well, we have almost a whole month of summer left before summer ends, I wouldn't hold my breath on getting busier, I can only hope for a good holiday season, people can only hold the cleaning for so long, until their in laws are coming, right ? I sure hope so !

So I was at the large apt complex, standing behind my van. Tenent from next building over comes over wants to ask a few questions. First 1- what's the name of your company?
Yes I have logo'd name on my van.
What kind of education are these kids getting these days??
