..but not like my kids.
So it been dumping water, temp gauge dosnt get over 180' on one job, then the next it will get to 220'.
220' is ok if im going higher psi and longer on the trigger. But the 220' on these jobs is normal.
The waste tank fills up, water starts blowing out the blower exhaust. I think because its dumping water the chem meter is running more chem(liquid slurry, which can be real foamy), as the water box is constantly needing to fill.
Taking a 3 hr ride to portland on monday to see an indepentant tm mech. tired of the jon-don thing.
Had to cancel part of a church yesterday and a job this a.m. cuz i didnt want to imbarrass myself by blowing dirty water all over driveway and parking lot.

Sounds like a bad bypass valve and you made a couple of wise moves in cancelling the job and deciding to make the long drive to find a good mech. Not much worse than having TM issues on a job, it makes for a very bad image.

Sorry Matt
Just checked in on the forum.
First thing which Everest do you have. NISSAN or Hyndai engine.
If you are getting water from the blower exhaust if the unit isn't shutting down then you need to check the waste tank shutdown switch.
One other thing to look at. Take the lid off of the waste tank. Start the unit and turn the pressure pump on. Look in the waste tank there should be a couple of blue hoses side by side. See if you have water coming out of either one.
Now is when I have to know what Everest you have.

No big deal Ace.
My post was more 'just venting'.
I called Jon son service dept: 'blah, blah, blah...' Made no sense.
I had the name of an independent guy down in Portland (3.5hr drive). Talked with him. He mentioned blue hoses and more; I said I'd just like a pro to take care of it.
Went down today, in 15 min he had it figured out- the By pass.
Replaced it for $120 for p/Labor. About $75 for gas. Probably saved money vs JD.

I think the water thru the blower was all the liquid slurry I used up from the water dumping. There was a lot more foam in the waste tank when i peeked in, when it was acting up.

Oh, I got motivated to clean the inside of waste tank. Found what looked like part of a T-shirt. Yep!

Bypass issues are pretty common and can be very frustrating. Glad to hear you got it all sorted out.

Matt, you need to get that waste tank shutdown float switch fixed, if you get waste water shooting out of the exhaust ( even if it’s not often ), your heat exchanger will get rusted, especially with detergent residues.
You don’t have to change the whole float, you can just get the switch ( $ 50 I think ? ) or Ed can help you get the whole float switch for a LOT cheaper than what JD charge.
