For upper end homes
Got this in about 2 days ago just to use in upper end homes . It's not as nice as Mikes new toys but will serve its intended purpose . Man I love Ebay .

Re: For upper end homes
Thats a nice vacuum, I get stuff on ebay a lot too. I've been using a sanitaire for the past few years. Let us know how you like it. I'll be need of a new ine in the near future.
Re: For upper end homes
I use an Electrolux commercial.
I like the looks of that Kirby. Bet it's a little on the heavy side.
Is the Kirby a dual motor vac?

Re: For upper end homes
I have a bag less sanitaire also but wanted something different . Picked up this Kirby for $ 107.00 on eBay plus about $25 for shipping and it has all of the attachments . Not to bad I guess . Yes it is a little on the heavy side . No it isn't a dual vacuum motor .
Re: For upper end homes
I am a fellow convert to Kirby myself after picking 2 of them up for cheap. I still use my ProTeam on the commercials (Sanitaire is a great choice as well), but only Kirby on residentials.
What did it for me was when I unpacked it and tried it out, the styrofoam packing kernals from about 3 inches away from the vac got sucked up without moving the vac....none of other vacs could do that. Terrific vacuum power!
Polish them up with some autosol or mag polish and you will have a conversation piece in the home. Look for anything from the G3 onward and you can't go wrong.

I've wanted one for awhile but all the used ones around my area are still going for close to retail. Great score.
