Computer Lock Ups..........What Gives, Anyone Else Here?
So for the last couple weeks my desktop computer running Win7 has been totally locking up with random BSOD's here and there too, and it seems it's usually while FF or Google Chrome has this site loaded.........I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the Xmas decorations/snow on this forum?
Anyone else having similar probs lately?

Ok, on a serious note, no I don't have that problem on my phone but then again I'm not using Chrome or FF, bsod is usually caused by viruses, I would run a full scan on your system first and hopefully that fixes the problem, text me if you need help Dave :-)

Thanks DP...........for nuthin! lol
In my experience BSOD are usually caused by hardware probs or can sometimes be software related.
I thought I had it figured out being the Flash player plugin for FF, but then started using Chrome and had the same prob. So the search continues!
And just figured I'd ask here to see if anyone else was having problems, thinking it could be related to the Xmas decorations here on the forum.

Re: Computer Lock Ups..........What Gives, Anyone Else Here?
So Mo.
I don't want to ruin the holiday fun for all, since I seem to be the only one having a prob. But I do think I've narrowed down the cause of my computer lockups to the snow on this forum, so.....
I'm wondering if you're going to be removing it now Xmas is over, or will it remain until after New Years? If it's going to stay awhile, is it at least possible to put control of it in the user options, so it can be turned off on an individual bases, like on most other forums?
Thanks for any help, as the constant lockups are hard on the computer and a risk of HD errors/damage.

buy a MAC and be done with problems like this. seriously i bought a MAC three three years ago for this same reason. havent had one problems since. I bought a referb about $1000 and some software. we have two kids that do research on it too, not one virus in four years. still runs just as fast as the day we bought it .

We'll have to see how your PC reacts to the New Years decorations

You might try HitmanPro3.7 from SurfRight B.V.
You can download it free for 30 days without giving them a credit card number. I downloaded it and all my computer glitches and problems went away and it runs like new again.

Ooops, sorry Davey, I needed a computer to funnel money to my off-shore accounts. It should be fixed now.
