Save a life New Year's Eve.

It's time once again to keep in mind drunk drivers' habits if you'll be doing any traveling New Year's Eve. And basically, it's pretty simple:

STAY OUT OF THE FAST LANE.

The reason is simple: Many, if not most head- on collisions which involve drunk drivers happen when they are driving on the wrong side of the road, but don't realize it. And on a divided highway, that means that they're in the fast lane- YOUR fast lane.

So make it a point to stay out of the fast lane this New Year's Eve as much as possible.

And make a point of telling your friends about this.

Drunk driver's are a strange lot. They tend to drive slower than traffic, because their reactions are slowed which makes it feel like they are going faster than they are. If they are in the fast lane, they probably aren't going fast....if you see that, leave plenty of room when you get by them.

The other option is to celebrate the way I do....I do laundry :king:

This is weird...just got off of the phone with my daughter and told her the same thing. I have encountered people on the interstate driving down the wrong side when working nights.
