Watched the video, looks like a pain to go through once up.

I do like the fact that u could have your logo or something else applied to it that alone might make it do-able.

There is a real market for a good door seal. I'm cleaning 2 homes today and it has been hovering around single digits, so I would be interested in it. I have the door drape now, but it really doesn't seal very well without stufing moving blankets in the gap.

I was just looking into designing one like that using thermal curtains which are well insulated, but they were pretty heavy. Space is a premium in the van and a thick, heavy curtain didn't work.

I wish people still had doggy doors....those were the good old days.

He lives just 1.5 hours away from me. Never met him. I have not seen it in person, but on a few videos I have seen, it still looks like it will let air in through the top and sides a bit. Would be nice if it had some type of flaps that stick out like the Bane Clean unit to help prevent this (on top and sides especially). Also, it is just a one size fits all type unit and a couple people I have spoke with have indicated it does not go tall enough on the poles all the time (have to put something wedged under polses), and sometimes it does not go wide enough on new high end doors.

Nice concept, just a few things that would be nice to change.

I have a canvas shop just 5 miles away that sews all kinds of products and will work with me to make or improve a drapes system. Has been something I have wanted to get to, just haven't had the time to do so.

With all this cold, I might get a bit more motivated though!

I played around with the idea of using zip-wall poles to just seal off the entry...that might still work albeit a little high on the pita meter. In sub-zero temps., it might be worth the effort.

And Joe, yes, I did use those doggy doors a lot back in the day. Only had one dog (poodle named "Esmerelda") whiz on the hose in disapproval. Never trust a poodle.
