New owner of a Bar and Grill so I just removed the first layers of grease and soil going back on Sunday to re-clean every thing again.
Yes I did tell him it would be a couple of cleanings.

I can see the spot where the first cleaner gave up.LOL

This was so soiled when I put the pre spray down the dirt just laughed at me. I mean no penetration what so ever.
So I just jacked up the heat took the steamway single get and removed one layer at a time.

Then put down the pre-spray scrubbed with green pad and 175 started to make way.

The carpet looks good but I have to go back after a bunch of gum that was under the filth.

Thank god it's a quality carpet 100% nylon

The new owner never even knew the carpet was green with a pattern.

The dirty carpet of the century and I did not bring my camera.

What's your plan for all the gum? I used to clean a country western club and we had a crew of 12 who's only job was gum removal.

How does that much gum fall out of people's mouths?

I use to get the tip of the injection sprayer 2" off the carpet and pressure wash those.
How come you didn't RX it?

 Good question on the RX...sounds like the right tool for that job.

As for gum...I have one client that resulted in 117 pieces of ground in gum being removed. I wanted to slap every kid I saw chewing gum after that. Actually, I still want to.  

For me it was a combination of Hell-Gel and steam to remove those things. I eventually moved to the gum-blaster machine that I borrowed, it worked really well but too expensive to purchase one at over 5k.

this is in a old building or historic the floor was way too uneven to use the rx

I am coming back with some chunks of dry ice and will make short work of the gum.

what about "gun and cuff" method on gum? Works great for me and fast.

are u using the slop and gobble like the video you had before?

I use the wash downer and a cuff. Perfect

Yes slop and gobble was used not sure about maintenance cleaning

the guy seems kind of cheap

I think the only reason I am cleaning it right now is a couple others said it could not be cleaned one tried and quit

I bet you could encap that place and HWE on the third time. Even dividing the place up and HWE the bad areas only. You can find his budget range and fit that with your maint program. Either way you can keep it looking good.
